Şiirsel Taş graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. After specializing in radiation oncology, she worked as a translator and editor in medical publishing, developing a passion for children's literature. She curated the youth literature column in Remzi Kitap Gazetesi from 2007 to 2010 and wrote for children's book magazine İyi Kitap from 2009 to 2016. Şiirsel continues to write in children's and youth literature, medicine, and natural sciences. She enjoys nature writing, cookies baked by her daughter, singing with children, and taking long walks. She has been nominated for the 2023 ALMA (Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award). She lives in Istanbul.Gökçe Akgül grew up with comics and books under his pillow, shaping his imagination. He loves climbing trees, gazing at the sky, and drawing. He illustrates for editorials, advertisements, animations, comics, graphic novels, and picture books. Some of his many children's book illustrations include Isaac Newton, Word Games of the Spokesman Sheep (Sözcü Koyunların Sözcük Oyunları), Diary of Insects (Börtü Böcek Güncesi), Chain (Zincir), The Worst Day in the World (Dünyanın En Berbat Günü), A Mountain Far Away (Uzakta Bir Dağ), An Adventure Soon (Yakında Bir Macera), and A Little Dot, a Big Elephant (Küçük Bir Nokta, Büyük Bir Fil). He lives in Istanbul.
