John Brunkowski and Michael Closen have been RVers for more than 25 years, having owned both travel trailers and motorhomes and having traveled extensively in their RVs throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. Currently, they own a motorhome and two vintage travel trailers, including a 1948 Vagabond and a1966 Airstream. They are members of several RV groups, such as Tin Can Tourists, Wally Byam Caravan Club, Family Motor Coach Association, and Good Sam Club. John and Michael have written articles about RVing and RV memorabilia collecting that appeared in AIRSTREAM LIFE, FAMILY MOTOR COACHING, and POSTCARD WORLD. They authored five previous RV books ?RV & CAMPER TOYS published in 2008; PICTORIAL GUIDE TO RVing in 2010; AIRSTREAM MEMORIES in 2012; KOA & THE ART OF KAMPING in 2013; and AMATEUR RADIO GOES CAMPING & RVing in 2013.John earned a BSN degree from Loyola University in Chicago, did graduate work at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and worked in the health care field for some 25 years. Michael received BS and MA degrees from Bradley University and a JD from the University of Illinois, and he served as a college professor for about 30 years.
