Will Daniel is the author-photographer of James River Reflections (Schiffer Books, 2011). Rivers and photography have been in his blood all his life. He spent four years traveling around Virginia capturing the beauty of the state's rivers in digital images. He retired in 2009 from a U.S. government job in which he was senior writer-editor for an employee information website. He now teaches part time in the School of Mass Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University, and continues to photograph rivers and other landscapes in and around Virginia. Information about his previous book is at www.willdaniel.com/james, and you can contact the author via e-mail from that website.
