Andr?nna Seymore grew up on the East End of Long Island. She earned her BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, working as a professional photographer ever since, and her Masters in Social Sciences and Urban Affairs from Queens College. Her photography captures slices of life of everyday people, illuminating them in ways that prompt the viewer to think about what is occurring beyond the four corners of the photograph. Andr?nna has been developing Scars & Stripes since 2008, traveling extensively in the US, Canada, and England and photographing the women and men involved, the subculture, and the integration with everyday life of this fast-growing phenomenon. Andr?nna currently lives in New York City, where she also skates for the Long Island Roller Rebels.
