The quilts, created by award-winning fiber artists and accomplished amateurs, reflect Virginia's 250 years in the US in a remarkable way. In conjunction with the prestigious Virginia Quilt Museum's mission to cultivate and preserve the quilting arts in Virginia, these quilts were expressly made for the US semiquincentennial.
