Andra F. Stanton is a retired psychotherapist currently writing about and manipulating fabric in Boulder, Colorado. She first investigated fiber art for her book?Zapotec Weavers of Teotitlan?(Museum of New Mexico Press). She went on to explore other art forms, especially art quilting, surface design, and 3-D composition. Her book?Dimensional Cloth: Sculpture by Contemporary Textile Artists?(Schiffer) was released in 2018 to wide acclaim. She is also the author of?Pilates for Fragile Backs?(New Harbinger). Her work can be seen in art galleries throughout the United States.
