Jeffrey Maybury Donato grew up and took root in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the magic of nature, which inspired him and cultivated his already overactive imagination. Identifying as first and foremost a storyteller and secondarily as an artist, Jeffrey was raised on comic books, cartoons, movies, and video games. He gives credit to these mainstays of his daily life for driving him towards a life of creative continuance. Jeffrey has degrees in Commercial Art, Illustration, and Interdisciplinary Art, and is currently an adjunct instructor of Art at the Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, Pennsylvania. A dilettante of Tarot and symbolism for over fifteen years, Jeffrey? obsession with myth and storytelling eventually led him to create his own version of the mythic, divinatory mechanism as the focus of his graduate studies.
